Active Rentals was formed in the spring of 2003. Managing Director, Andrew McCusker, had noticed a marked increase in the use of Powered Access Equipment within the family run glazing business and, having a sales and marketing background, identified a niche in the market for a bespoke Powered Access Company providing a high level of customer service together with a comprehensive product range.
Since then Active Rentals has built a reputation for a level of service rarely rivalled in its sector. With an unparalleled, new and comprehensive range of the most modern Fork & Powered Access Machines available on the market, they pride themselves in having highly experienced professional staff, with extensive product knowledge, and they believe firmly in the “Right First Time” policy, and at all times strive to see this through to completion.
Active has further enhanced its reputation in the marketplace with its strong links to IPAF (International Powered Access Federation), not only as a leading Training Centre, but also by being vigorously involved in the IPAF Training Committee and at IPAF Council level. Active is also a member of PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufactures’ Association) providing scaffolding erection training. Memberships of other bodies include the SPOA (Scottish Plant Owners Association) and CPA (Construction Plant Association).
